Strands is the NYT’s latest word game after the likes of Wordle, Spelling Bee and Connections – and it’s great fun. It can be difficult, though, so read on for my Strands hints.

I’d never heard of the phrase DRINKWARE before, which made it quite difficult for me to solve today’s spangram — even if in hindsight it looks quite obvious.
Some of the specific items were equally hard to think of; I got TUMBLER, TANKARD and GOBLET easily enough, but STEIN was a tricky one and SNIFTER took me an absolute age to find.
After all that hard work, I think I need a drink…
